Once you have done your eLuminar registration, one of the first step you should do is adding children records into the system.
eLuminar has two (2) options for you to do it:
New Admission
Enrollment New Children Process
What s the difference between these two options:
New Admission: It uses for currently children in your care. After your registration, collect all children record you must have and then add it into eLuminar by clicking New Admission button on the home page.

How to add new children record:
Go to home page and click button New Admission ( above image). It will show Children New Admission page.
The page is divided into 4 sections:
Children: Enter children basic information
Parents#1: Enter parent information. You can define parent relationship with the children. eLuminar respects and is prepare for families with two mothers or two parents. You just need to set the appropriate relationship.
Parents#2: Enter parent information. You can define parent relationship with the children. eLuminar respects and is prepare for families with two mothers or two parents. You just need to set the appropriate relationship.
Submit: Verify/Validate all entered information and then click Save button to add children record.

Children Record:
Enter basic chidlren information
All basic information are mandatory.
Start Date: Enter the date children started attend you childcare.
Classroom: If you organize your childcare by classroom, you can enter the classroom for the children.
Has brother/sister: If children record been added has some brother/sister already in your care. You can reuse brother/sister record for it. If check box is selected, you must select brother/sister in the dropdown list and then click Save. The system will redirect you to Children Records Page automatically.

Address Information

Define enrollment Type and Schedule
Just click Days checkbox for the days of children attend your childcare.

Define Tuition Rates and Billing Cycle

Default Payment Method: How is the payment method define by you for parents tutition payments.
Rate: Children tuition is by hour, monthly fixed price or weekly fixed price.
Amount: Enter the tutition amount. If is hour enter hour rate otherwise fix price rate.
Billing Cycle: How you bill the tuition amount. You can billed once a month, weekly, bi-weekly. Eluminar will get this value for invoices generation.
Extra Day: How is the amount for extra days you charge.
Subsidized? If children is subsidized, check the box.
Parents Information

For both parents record is very important that you enter teh folllowing information:
Language: eLuminar is a mulit-language system which means when a language is defined the user will see all pages in the specified language.
Let's say Nicola Tesla's parents speaks spanish. You should enter spanish as language. Nicola's parents will be able to see all messages, notifications, assessments that you send to them in spanish.
EMAIL and CELL PHONE: Right after a new children record is added into the system, you can invite the parents to join eLuminar and then download the App for Apple Store. In order to parents receives SMS, emails, notification they must have an valid email and cell phone registered.
Submiting new Children Record
First, verify and validate all information entered for children and parents. Once it all correct, click Save and then a popup page will appears with a success record message and then it will give two options:
Go Home Page: You will see the new children record at children record list on the page.
Children Record: You will redirect to Children Records Page to enter complementary information as medical, records, children's picture, vaccination records and others options.
